I'm talking to you!

Violet had just been a crank.  She was getting under Mommy's nerves.  Violet was asking something.  Mommy said, "I'm not talking to you."

Violet got really upset, and started in on this really dramatic half-crying.  "But I'm talking to you."

I feel bad, but sometimes it's funny when she gets all upset.
