Violet's not good at surprises. She likes being surprised, but for all the abstract concepts that she's picked up like nothing, she just doesn't understand how a surprise works.
We'll tell her, "Violet, I have a surprise for you."
Violet instantly says, "What is it?"
"Violet, it's a surprise," we say.
Undaunted, she says, "What is it?"
"No it's a surprise. You'll find out later."
"What is it?"
